“We feel so overwhelmed right now”: Peter Andre welcomes 3rd child with wife Emily, shares photos of newborn daughter

On April 2, 2024, Peter Andre, a British singer and TV personality, and his wife, Emily MacDonagh, joyfully welcomed their third child, a daughter. The following day, April 3, Andre shared the exciting news on Instagram, sharing a photo of the mother and baby together.

The caption stated,

“Just minutes old……We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.”

Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh are the proud parents of Amelia, who is nine years old, and Theo, who is eight years old. In addition, Andre has two children, Junior, who is 18 years old, and Princess, who is 16 years old, from his previous marriage to model Katie Price.

Peter Andre expressed his gratitude to the doctors, midwives, and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton, where the baby was born, for showering her with love and affection from her four older siblings. He also mentioned that the baby was “spoilt with cuddles,”as per his previous statement.

“Thanks to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily’s parents, whom I adore. You have both been incredible. I’m so happy. Just off to hold her. Thanks everyone for reading.”

The expectant duo has been chronicling their journey to parenthood on both social media and through Peter Andre’s weekly column in OK! Magazine.

In October of 2023, the 51-year-old musician revealed on Instagram that he and his spouse were anticipating the arrival of their third child. The pair shared a selfie, with MacDonagh proudly displaying ultrasound images in her hand.

“We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024. The kids are so excited. So are we,”the post was captioned.

Emily posted a video on March 2 showing herself packing up for the hospital. The caption read:

“Everything I am packing in my hospital bag, not long to go now.”

In his March 25 update, Andre described his wife’s experience with Braxton Hicks, which they initially believed to be the onset of labor.

“Emily and I are on total tenterhooks now that the baby is due any day. We thought it was going to happen last week when she seemed to be having contractions. It ended up being Braxton Hicks and I kept making her laugh during it. She, like many other mums, is a tough ol’ cookie and takes it all in her stride.”

In his latest post, Peter Andre requested assistance from his followers in choosing a name for his baby. In a previous week, Andre shared in his weekly column for OK! Magazine that he and his partner were having difficulty deciding on a name for their child. He stated:

“I was reading about a few baby names that are apparently on the brink of ‘extinction’, and it looks like the most endangered in 2024 is Keanu for a boy and Flo, a shortened version of Florence, for a girl. I really like Keanu. It’s crazy to think names could be wiped out. Maybe this will give us some inspiration, but we have no idea what we’ll call the baby.”

In addition, he mentioned that they spent six weeks deciding on a name for his daughter Amelia, who is affectionately known as Millie. They even considered naming her Rose before ultimately settling on her current name.

On July 11, 2015, in Exeter, Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh exchanged vows at Mamhead House in a joyous celebration that featured a performance by the Flava singer himself. Prior to this marriage, Peter was wed to Katie Price from 2005 to 2009 and they have two children together.
