With a significant update recently launched, Satisfactory continues to hold its position as one of the premier simulation games available today. This first-person factory simulation game focuses on constructing factories and power plants on an alien planet. Players must effectively utilize various resources found in this world to establish a thriving production facility.

However, new players may find the game somewhat technical. In this article, we will clarify what Time Crystals are in Satisfactory and how to produce them to enhance your production capabilities.

In addition to coal production, ore mining, and similar tasks, players must craft Time Crystals once they achieve a certain level. These crystals are a vital resource in Satisfactory, essential for various advanced crafting processes. If you are at or above Tier 9, Time Crystals will be crucial for optimizing your production line.

Time Crystals are necessary for several quantum-based recipes. They are also used to create Neural-Quantum Processors, which are integral to constructing supercomputers. To craft these processors, you need five Time Crystals along with other materials. They are one of the few methods to advance through Tier 9 in the game.

Additionally, Time Crystals can be utilized to craft Synthetic Power Shards, enhancing your production efficiency. You will also rely on these crystals to upgrade your transportation systems, specifically the Conveyor Belt Mk.6 and Conveyor Lift Mk.6.

To craft Time Crystals, you need access to the Converter. You will also need diamonds, which can then be transformed into Time Crystals. The converter has a production capacity of six Time Crystals per minute. For every two diamonds fed into the converter, you receive one Time Crystal in return.

To obtain diamonds in the game, you will need coal. While the process of creating Time Crystals is relatively straightforward, keep in mind that converters consume a large amount of energy. Ensure that you have adequate resources before starting production and manage your power consumption carefully.

The converter will require between 250 to 750 MW of power. It’s crucial to maintain a stable power grid and monitor it closely during production.
