Waterbomb Manila 2025 Faces Ticketing Troubles Amid Excitement
The announcement of Waterbomb Manila 2025 in July 2024 ignited a wave of enthusiasm among fans throughout the Philippines. However, the ticketing launch day turned into a source of frustration, as organizers faced significant backlash over the ticket purchasing system.
Backlash on Social Media
On the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), many ticket buyers took to the platform to express their discontent regarding the use of WordPress as the ticketing interface. Fans criticized this choice, feeling that a more sophisticated ticketing system would have better served the needs of a high-demand event like Waterbomb Manila.
Technical Issues Experience by Fans
A predominant complaint involved the website’s inability to handle the volume of traffic, leading to frequent crashes. Many users encountered errors at multiple stages of the purchasing process, exacerbating their frustrations.
This stupid ass organizer used wordpress for ticketing system. @Waterbomb_PH now we’re all blocked because it kept fucking crashing.

Some users who managed to purchase tickets reported another issue: the absence of their QR codes, which function as digital tickets for the festival. This added to the discontent among fans who had already made payments.
Hello same concerns as the others. Already paid & no QR code appeared since the site crashed after payment was made. Also in my orders it is not listed. pic.twitter.com/ewbP79QbkE

“A system error is currently being experienced on the ticketing site due to a high influx of users. The error is currently being addressed. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and kindly request for your patience and understanding.”
Fans Express Frustration Over Lack of Preparation
