Upcoming Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 Special Program Announcement

HoYoVerse has officially unveiled plans for the 1.5 Special Program of Zenless Zone Zero, scheduled to broadcast on January 10, 2024, at 3:30 AM PT / 6:30 AM ET. This livestream will feature members of the development team discussing an exciting array of new content including story quests, character introductions, events, and other game enhancements.

How to Watch the Livestream

Fans can catch the program live on YouTube and Twitch. Although the exact runtime and specifics of the content to be shared during the stream remain under wraps, previous livestreams typically provided enticing previews of new characters and factions slated for upcoming campaign quests. In addition, they often showcase new equipment and highlight various in-game events along with their rewards.

Patch Details: “Astra-nomical Moment”

The upcoming patch, titled “Astra-nomical Moment,” will introduce two brand-new playable characters: Astra Yao and Evelyn Chevalier. Both characters were first glimpsed in a side story chapter at the conclusion of the 1.4 update, generating anticipation for their official inclusion in the game. Notably, HoYoVerse has even set up a dedicated social media account for Astra ahead of her release.

Character Insights

Astra Yao marks the introduction of the Ether character type since the prior characters Nicole Demara and Zhu Yuan. She will serve as a Support-type unit, similar to Nicole. In contrast, her personal bodyguard, Evelyn, is classified as an Attack agent specializing in Fire damage, adding a dynamic strategy layer to the gameplay.

Exclusive Rewards for Viewers

As with past livestream events, viewers who tune in live will receive a redemption code granting them Polychromes as a reward. Additionally, select viewers can look forward to receiving surprise gifts, enhancing the excitement of participating in the livestream.
