The mystifying power and technique behind Muay Thai fighters’ ability to unleash their strength in a fight continues to captivate combat sports fans, as demonstrated by the legendary Nong-O Hama.

At 37 years old, the veteran has accumulated more than 331 bouts and has gained extensive experience in combat sports, leading to numerous accolades and world titles.

During the month of August in 2022, Nong-O went up against another renowned figure in the world of Muay Thai, British superstar Liam Harrison, at ONE on Prime Video 1.

Nong-O, who was currently the reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, was determined to secure his sixth consecutive title defense. However, ‘Hitman’ was determined to capitalize on the momentum from his triumphant comeback victory against Muangthai PK Saenchai and upset Nong-O.

Despite Harrison’s attempts to pressure Nong-O and force him into making mistakes, the Thai fighter remained composed and countered with powerful leg kicks. These kicks were so effective that they caused Harrison’s leg to weaken and eventually give out, resulting in a TKO victory for Nong-O.

Up-and-Coming Fighter Set to Take on Muay Thai Champion Nong-O

Nong-O’s renowned career continues to progress and his upcoming fight will take place at ONE Friday Fights 58 on Friday, April 5, at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, a fellow Thai countryman, will be his opponent.

In the beginning of 2024, ‘Left Meteorite’ has been performing exceptionally well with a four-fight winning streak, including three consecutive finishes in his most recent fights.

It will be quite a challenge for the 25-year-old to defeat Nong-O, and although he is determined to achieve a knockout, the legendary fighter has no intention of allowing it to occur.

ONE Friday Fights 58 will be broadcasted live on ONE Championship’s various digital platforms, including its YouTube channel.
