WATCH: Bogdan Bogdanovic heatedly confronts Quin Snyder amid blowout win
Despite his team-leading 20 points in the Atlanta Hawks’ 113-101 victory against the Chicago Bulls, Bogdan Bogdanovic was captured on camera engaging in a heated exchange with head coach Quin Snyder. While his performance on the court was impressive, Bogdanovic appeared dissatisfied and took the opportunity to address his concerns with Snyder.
Despite being removed from the game by Snyder, Bogdanovic remained visibly upset in the video below. The Serbian sharpshooter directed his frustration towards his head coach, loudly and emphatically gesturing towards himself.
Despite the Hawks having a comfortable lead for most of the game, their players were forced to intervene and separate their teammate from their coach. The coach appeared to have a good understanding of his player and attempted to shake his hand, but it is uncertain what occurred.
During their recent streak, Atlanta Hawks player Bogdan Bogdanovic had been performing exceptionally, even securing consecutive victories against the top-ranked Boston Celtics. On Sunday, he continued his impressive streak with a standout performance in the Hawks’ triumph over the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
Bogdanovic’s performance of 20 points, four rebounds and six assists helped the Hawks narrow the margin with the Bulls in the rankings. They are currently half a game behind Chicago for the ninth position, a crucial spot for the upcoming Play-In Tournament. The ninth seed will hold the advantage of playing on their home court against the tenth seed.
During the game, Atlanta’s Vit Krejci also performed well, recording 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Dejounte Murray contributed 17 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, and Jalen Johnson added 17 points while coming off the bench.

Snyder’s postgame press conference included a mention of Bogdanovic, with the coach specifically highlighting the player’s crucial role on defense in the team’s recent successes. Snyder even let out a chuckle while referring to his player affectionately as “Bogi.”
“Bogi was terrific, and he and I are in a great place,”Snyder said. “So great, I mean better than good, great. And I love how he played as well. He’s defending, which has been a point of pride for him.”
