[WATCH] Bayley reunites with a WWE Superstar ahead of WrestleMania 40

Leading up to WrestleMania 40, Bayley reconnected with fellow WWE wrestler Indi Hartwell. Throughout the years, the duo has formed a strong friendship.

Bayley is preparing to face off against IYO WeY for the WWE Women’s Championship at the highly anticipated event, The Grandest Stage of Them All. Earlier this year, The Role Model emerged victorious in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match and subsequently challenged The Genius of the Sky for her coveted title.

Indi Hartwell took to her Instagram story to post a video of her reunion with Bayley. The 27-year-old also included a brief four-word message directed towards the former leader of Damage CTRL.

“Da freakin role model,”wrote Hartwell.

Bayley’s WrestleMania 40 Challenge: A Shot at the Women’s Championship Against IYO WeY

Bayley’s anticipation for WrestleMania 40 is palpable. In addition, she remains resolute in her goal to overthrow IYO WeY and put an end to her reign as the Women’s Champion.

During an interview with NFL Total Access, the former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion expressed her thoughts on the excitement surrounding this year’s WrestleMania. She emphasized that she is not underestimating WeY and is eager to emerge victorious at WrestleMania as the Women’s Champion. The Role Model added:

“WrestleMania is always so exciting. It’s the most special time of the year. That’s our Super Bowl. It’s always to me felt like it’s on another planet, even since I was a kid,”she said. “This WrestleMania in particular, WrestleMania 40, this is the hottest WWE has ever been. We have The Rock coming back, we have everybody. To be a part of this gigantic show, WrestleMania 40, that’s been going on for four decades, is insane. So the fact that I have a marquee match for a championship in a very personal, emotional story that I kind of created with the beginning of Damage CTRL with IYO WeY, it’s a huge honor, I don’t take it lightly, and I can’t wait to walk out as WWE Women’s Champion because this is history right here.”

In the days leading up to WrestleMania, Bayley discovered that she had been betrayed by Damage CTRL when she overheard them mocking her. Throughout her preparation for the title match, the 34-year-old has encountered her fellow faction members multiple times.
