An example of the Armenian powerhouse’s incredible performance can be seen in his second-round knockout against Andy Souwer. Despite being only his second appearance with the promotion, Grigorian displayed his skill by defeating the former K-1 kickboxing champion with a perfectly timed jab.

This Friday, April 5, Grigorian will once again showcase his signature power as he returns to the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium to face his long-standing rival and former ONE world champion, Superbon from Superbon Training Camp, at ONE Friday Fights 58.
The victor of their long-awaited main event will be crowned as the newly appointed ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion, paving the way for a unification showdown with the division’s undisputed ruler, Chingiz Allazov.

The upcoming clash between Grigorian and Superbon will serve as a highly anticipated rematch from their previous encounter at the ONE X event in March 2022, which marked the promotion’s 10th anniversary. During their five-round bout, the Thai fighter delivered an outstanding performance and emerged as the victor.
With the ONE banner as his motivation, Marat Grigorian is physically ready to fight another 15 minutes against Superbon in order to even the series. The only thing left for him to do is prepare himself mentally.
“My body is ready, but [the only thing left] is to prepare for the mind, you know, in your head,”Grigorian said in an interview with Sportsmanor. “On this level, it’s very important to get ready in your mind and your body. My body is very strong but I just need to be focused [in] my mindset, because mindset is more important on this level.”
