Warframe’s Isleweaver Update Set for June 25 Release

Digital Extremes has officially announced the highly anticipated Isleweaver update for Warframe, scheduled to launch across all platforms on June 25. This substantial update brings exciting new content and challenges for players to explore and conquer.

Expanding the Kingdom of Duviri

For players who have successfully completed the Warframe: 1999 quest titled “The Hex, ”an expanded version of the Kingdom of Duviri awaits. Here, you’ll confront Major Rusalka once more amid the emotional turmoil of Duviri, along with new adversaries such as The Murmur and the ominous Indifference. Engage in activities that include collecting lore fragments to unveil hidden narratives, discovering the haunting new island of Scholar’s Landing, and piecing together the mystery surrounding Rusalka’s reign. Ultimately, players will challenge the new Warframe, Oraxia, in an intense mini-boss encounter.

Operation: Eight Claw

Isleweaver brings players the new Operation: Eight Claw. Here, players will join forces with Dominus Thrax to reclaim Scholar’s Landing and the throne of Duviri from the formidable Major Rusalka and The Murmur through this clan-based event. Players are encouraged to search for additional lore fragments to deepen their understanding of Rusalka’s tale and the present state of Duviri. Notably, all previous Clan Operation rewards will be re-accessible until July 16, providing ample opportunity to earn exclusive goodies.

The 61st Warframe: Oraxia

All players will get access to the newest Warframe, Oraxia, renowned as the mistress of fear. Oraxia possesses unique abilities to isolate and execute weakened enemies, apply poison, gain buffs from marked foes, and summon swarms of spiderlings from fallen enemies. Accompanying Oraxia will be two new weapons: the Scyotid barb cluster throwing weapon and the Spinnerex poison whip, further expanding the diverse arsenal in Warframe.

Cosmetics and Community Designs

The Isleweaver update also enriches the aesthetic experience with new Deluxe Cosmetics and TennoGen offerings. Players can delve into Citrine’s latest Deluxe Collection featuring the Citrine Aphrodita Skin, the Corazon Syandana, and an array of beautifully crafted cosmetics. Furthermore, the updated TennoGen cosmetics allow players to customize their Warframes, weapons, and operators with unique designs created by the community.

Improving New Player Experience

In an effort to enhance the experience for new players, Digital Extremes is introducing a revamped onboarding tutorial within the Vor’s Prize quest. This updated introduction modernizes the boss fight and aims to make the early game more engaging. Additionally, Valkyr’s gameplay has undergone a rework, allowing for a faster and more aggressive melee playstyle that highlights her strengths.

Looking Ahead: TennoCon and Upcoming Announcements

Fans can expect more exciting announcements during the TennoCon, scheduled for July 18-19 in London, Ontario. This year’s convention is particularly special, marking the tenth anniversary of this fan-centric Warframe event.
