The release of the first DLC for Dying Light 2 has been delayed

Dying Light 2 came out earlier in 2022 after years of delays and uncertainty surrounding the sequel to the popular 2015 open-world zombie game. At first, the Techland team struggled to release the game, but have now announced that they are postponing the release of the first part of the post-launch DLC.

Making the announcement on Twitter , the Techland team said: “Dear pilgrims, your feedback is always our highest priority and we want to be honest and transparent with you. We need a little more time to develop the first story DLC. It is now scheduled to be released in September.”

While this news may be disappointing to some, Techland will release other much-requested features in the meantime , and in June the team will “reveal the first chapter of the game, titled Night Runner, filled with content and events, as well as the long-awaited photo mode,” which we hope , should last fans until the first major part of the DLC.

While some may be disappointed that Dying Light 2 DLC is being delayed, the team has already promised 5 years of post-launch support for the game, and since it was only released on February 3rd, Techland is far from done. with the world of Dying Light 2.
