DREION chose Snoop Dogg as his coach on The Voice

DREION delivered an impressive rendition of Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Shining Star,”resulting in all four coaches turning their chairs. Following his performance, he disclosed that he had once opened for the band on stage. Residing in Omaha, Nebraska, DREION showcased both his vocal and dance talents, leading Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani to entice him with their “shiny things,”including their dazzling shoes and accessories.

“Take the I-O-N off, and that’s Dre and Snoop!”Snoop Dogg quipped.

The rapper attempted to persuade DREION by pointing out how well they would collaborate if he selected him as his coach, drawing a playful comparison to iconic hip-hop duo Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. He displayed his necklace, challenging Gwen directly. Meanwhile, Gwen left her chair and strutted across the stage to flaunt her glistening shoes.

“Look at my shoes!”Gwen pleaded.

The Voice coach requested DREION to consider her by showcasing her unique holographic shoes. When asked, DREION acknowledged that the coaches had presented him with “a really hard decision.”After careful thought, he ultimately chose to join Team Snoop Dogg.

In addition to his remarkable vocal talent, DREION’s self-assurance and stage charisma significantly impressed the coaches. Country icon Reba McEntire praised DREION for his powerful singing and engaging dance moves.

“It’s so powerful. I had to turn around and see what you looked like – and I loved your dance moves!”Reba remarked.

Gwen acknowledged that it is quite rare to encounter a performer who can sing and exude “a stage-like aura”as DREION does. Having spent decades in the music industry, The Voice coach noted that it typically takes years for an artist to cultivate such confidence on stage. Therefore, she was thoroughly impressed that DREION managed to accomplish this at such an early stage in his career.
