During emergency situations like these floods, dependable communication networks are crucial for coordinating rescue efforts and ensuring the safety of individuals. Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T have swiftly mobilized to provide much-needed assistance to impacted communities. These companies have expressed solidarity with those affected, underscoring the vital role connectivity plays in the recovery process.

Verizon has highlighted its commitment to maintaining operational networks despite significant damage. The company is closely collaborating with emergency management agencies to address the communication requirements during this crisis. Moreover, it has supplied low-Earth orbit satellite technology to the Texas Department of Public Safety, enhancing the efficacy of drone-assisted search and rescue operations.

On the other hand, T-Mobile is extending its efforts further by providing on-the-ground assistance in Kerrville, one of the most severely affected regions. The company’s Community Support team is offering essential services, including Wi-Fi access, charging stations, and emergency supplies at designated recovery centers. Additionally, T-Mobile is partnering with local and state agencies to streamline resource distribution and resolve any connectivity challenges.

Meanwhile, AT&T has proactively collaborated with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center and has established a 40-foot Mobile Connectivity Center at Schreiner University in Kerrville. This facility supports displaced families by providing charging stations, internet access, and computers, while also working alongside public safety agencies through its FirstNet Response Operation Group to ensure ongoing communication capabilities. AT&T has also reached out to customers, reminding them of the available support to maintain connectivity during these trying times.

Collectively, these three major telecommunications providers demonstrate a strong commitment to aiding impacted communities, actively participating in rescue and recovery efforts, and ensuring that essential connections are maintained throughout this challenging period.
