The Redmi K50 series will be launched in February. Recent reports have shown that the lineup will include multiple models running on different processors from Qualcomm and MediaTek. Now reliable whistleblower WHY LAB has revealed the model numbers, monikers, and processor of future variants of the Redmi K50.
A new leak reveals that the vanilla Redmi K50 has model number 22021211RC. It was recently spotted with Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. Redmi K50 has model number 220411211AC and will be powered by Dimensity 8000 chipset.
The K50 Pro has the model number 22011211C and will be equipped with the Dimensity 9000 SoC. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition has the model number 21121210C. It is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
Redmi K50 Gaming is equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz or 144Hz. It has a 16MP front camera and its rear has a 64MP (main) + 13MP (ultra wide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera setup. For security purposes, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The K50 Gaming is expected to come with two stereo speakers from JBL, AAC 1016 ultra-wideband support, and an X-axis motor. The phone measures 162 x 76.8 x 8.45mm and weighs 210 grams.
The rumor mill has yet to shed specific information on the specs of the Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+ models. We hope to have more details on these models in the coming weeks. It is unclear if all four smartphones will be released together next month in February in China.
