Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon provides players with a remarkable opportunity to craft distinct characters, thanks to its extensive build variety. Gamers can personalize their gameplay experience by utilizing a diverse range of spells, weaponry, and armor, along with the strategic allocation of stat points.
A cornerstone of character enhancement is the integration of Relics, which are rare items discovered throughout the game world. These Relics offer significant buffs, categorized into two primary types: Weapon Relics and Armor Relics.
Upon acquiring your first Relic, you might encounter some uncertainty regarding its usage, as the game provides limited guidance. This article elucidates the process of effectively utilizing Relics in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
Utilizing Relics in Tainted Grail

To utilize Relics, head to any Grindstone bench within Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. These Grindstones are typically located at Blacksmiths and offer a range of services, including the ability to attach Relics, enhance armor, lighten gear, and engage in Handcrafting.
You can find the Blacksmith and Grindstone bench situated on the western side of Horns of the South, the first major city in the game. Upon interacting with a Grindstone, a menu will appear detailing the various services available.
Select the “Attach Relic” option, which will bring up a list of all your weapons and armor. Choose the specific piece of gear you wish to enhance, and spend the required amount of gold to create a Relic slot, typically costing around 500 gold.
After creating the Relic slot, you can access the Relic menu, select your desired Relic to insert, and finalize the engraving onto the gear piece to activate its effects.
Each weapon and armor piece can accommodate up to two Relics. It’s essential to remember that only Weapon Relics can be added to weapons and Armor Relics to armor pieces, as indicated on the Relic’s description card.
Finding Relics in Tainted Grail

Relics are valuable items, which you can discover while exploring the expansive game world. Although no guaranteed method exists for obtaining Relics, certain strategies can enhance your chances.
A highly effective approach involves exploring side dungeons such as mines and caves. Thoroughly investigate every nook and cranny, including searching craters and lockpicking chests, as they may hold Relics.
Additionally, defeating enemies can reward you with Relics. While even lesser foes might drop these treasures, stronger and elite enemies are known for a higher drop rate. You can identify elite enemies by a black symbol displayed in the center of their health bar.
I also recommend actively accepting bounties from boards located in villages and cities throughout the game. These areas serve as central hubs where you can find Blacksmiths, merchants, and bounty boards offering various challenges.
Each bounty board typically features around five tasks, mainly focused on hunting down and defeating elite adversaries, like the leaders of bandit factions. Completing these bounties frequently yields valuable rewards, including Relics.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that Relics can sometimes be found simply through regular gameplay. Many players report discovering Relics serendipitously without making a concerted effort, so you may find luck on your side!
