Upon communicating with the seller, it became apparent that the owner had limited knowledge about computer hardware, which likely contributed to the undervalued sale. To the surprise of the Redditor, the motherboard came equipped with four NVMe SSDs hidden beneath the heatsinks. The specifications of these drives are as follows:

  1. 2x 4 TB WD Black SN850X: Approximately $600 per SSD
  2. 1x 2 TB Corsair MP600: Approximately $300
  3. 1x 2 TB Intel 670p: Approximately $270-$280

When totaled at current market rates, the SSDs are valued at around $1700, but he acquired them alongside the motherboard for only $50. To add another layer to this incredible find, one of the 2TB SSDs was reported to contain nearly 1.9TB filled with GOG games, a bonus that many gamers would cherish.

This kind of luck isn’t entirely unique; it echoes a previous incident where another individual mistakenly received two boxes full of NVMe SSDs from Amazon, which also turned out to be a windfall of expensive components. Such unexpected rewards are rare but undoubtedly exhilarating, especially during a period when the prices for SSDs and RAM are exceedingly high, making PC building a challenge for many.
