A U. S.retailer has recently showcased three new models of the Radeon RX 9060 XT, providing insights into their respective price points.
Pricing Revealed for ASRock RX 9060 XT Models Starting at $319
With the launch of the Radeon RX 9060 XT drawing near, retailers are gearing up for the big day. It’s commonplace for retailers globally to prep by listing various GPU models online, thus giving us an indication of pricing trends.

Central Computers, a retailer based in California, has made available three distinct models of the ASRock Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards. These models belong to the Challenger and Steel Legend series, featuring both 8 GB and 16 GB options. The RX 9060 XT CL 8GO is offered at a competitive price of $319. Meanwhile, the RX 9060 XT CL 16GO is priced at $369, and the premium option, the RX 9060 XT SL 16GO, is listed at $389.

As of now, images of the cards have not yet been made available on the retailer’s site, and purchases cannot be completed until AMD lifts the sales embargo. However, given that ASRock has officially disclosed details about these GPUs, we know their features. The Challenger series models come with a dual-fan cooling solution, while the more advanced Steel Legend variant is designed with a triple-fan system, complete with RGB lighting and a sleek white shroud.

Both the Challenger 8 GB and 16 GB versions share similar specifications, including a boost clock speed of 3290 MHz. Conversely, the Steel Legend RX 9060 XT 16 GB variant slightly edges with a boost clock of 3320 MHz. These factory-overclocked models carry a premium compared to the base variants, which list at 3.13 GHz boost frequency. Notably, the RX 9060 XT 8 GB debuted at $299, while the 16 GB model launched at $349. Consequently, the additional $20-$40 for the OC models may raise questions about price retention upon launch.
The recent trends in GPU releases reveal that both AMD and NVIDIA have struggled to maintain MSRP levels for their products. For instance, the RTX 50 series and the RX 9070 series have not consistently reflected their official pricing, even after several months on the market. Currently, the RX 9060 series stands out as the only sub-$400 GPU after the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB, but similar to its counterpart, maintaining the 16 GB model under the $400 mark seems increasingly unlikely.
