Upgrading Shops in Tamagotchi Plaza: A Step-by-Step Guide

If you’ve immersed yourself in the Tamagotchi Corner Shop series, you’ll be familiar with the engaging gameplay found in Tamagotchi Plaza. Here, players dive into diverse shops, earn Gotchi, and progressively enhance these stores, culminating in the unlocking of exciting secret venues.

Beyond the workday grind, Tamagotchi Plaza offers a rich experience filled with decorating opportunities and charming errands for the townsfolk, resulting in delightful interactions. So, let’s jump into how to elevate your shops in Tamahiko Town and transform it into an irresistible destination.

Upgrading Shops in Tamagotchi Plaza

The key to upgrading shops in Tamagotchi Plaza is straightforward: engage in the work available. This typically involves entering venues like the Dentist or Manga Shop and participating in their mini-games to satisfy customers and send them away delighted.

No matter which shop you are in, the general upgrade process remains consistent. Follow these steps:

  1. Serve around five happy customers to prompt a visit from Prince Tamahiko. Ensure he has a great experience, and he will recommend an upgrade.
  2. The player serves Prince Tamahiko in the Bicycle Shop in Tamagotchi Plaza

  3. Following the Prince’s visit, the shop manager will suggest spending 150 Gotchi to elevate the shop to Metchi level (level 2).Go ahead and do it!
  4. Serve approximately 10 more satisfied customers to see Prince Tamahiko again. If you provide him with good service, he will suggest another upgrade.
  5. Once he departs, prepare to invest 450 Gotchi to enhance the shop to Gotchi level (level 3).
  6. After serving about 15 more happy customers, Prince Tamahiko will return one last time.
  7. Upon his departure, it’s time to channel a significant amount of 2200 Gotchi to upgrade the shop to the maximum level, Royal (level 4).

During my gameplay, I discovered that a happy customer typically rates their experience with at least two smiley faces. Aiming for three smiley faces is ideal, but achieving two is generally sufficient for successful interactions. For instance, I once served a galette that received only two smiley faces yet still led to an upgrade at the Galette Shop. However, my failure to impress Prince Tamahiko during a Gym session meant I had to serve further customers before he would consider visiting again.

As you upgrade your shops, expect noticeable improvements in their architecture, alongside new tools and enhanced options during mini-games. For example, starting at the Dentist, your duties mostly revolve around cavities, while higher ranks allow you to equip Tamagotchis with braces and other accessories.

Moreover, each time you engage in the mini-games and upgrade the ranks, you’ll unlock access to secret shops within Tamahiko Town—an exciting feature to keep an eye out for!
