The OMV Dijiang functions as the main hub for Endfield Industries within Arknights: Endfield, offering players a diverse range of activities. Here, the Endministrator can engage in material production, hunt for world clues, interact with Operators, and even exchange gifts. However, the Control Nexus has certain limitations that can be expanded upon by upgrading its level. This guide explains how to effectively upgrade the Control Nexus in Arknights: Endfield.
Steps to Upgrade Control Nexus in Arknights: Endfield

To initiate the upgrade of the Control Nexus, players must complete the Dijiang Upgrade and Maintenance I quest. This mission grants the essential Algorithm Expansion Chip required for the upgrade. However, you still need to acquire other resources, such as Aerospace Materials and T-Creds, through regular gameplay.
Aerospace Materials can be obtained daily by visiting the Recycling Station, starting with Aerospace Material I. To access Aerospace Material II, you will need to enhance the Recycling Station. This upgrade is crucial for effective material collection.

The Dijiang Upgrade and Maintenance I quest will automatically be triggered as you progress in the game, typically around Authority Level 23. When Xaihi sends you a message about the Control Nexus upgrade, you’ll know it’s time to undertake this quest.

To track down the Dijiang Upgrade and Maintenance I quest, navigate to your Mission tab and select it from the Important section. Click on Track to navigate directly to the OMV Dijiang. Follow the instructions from Xaihi to successfully complete the quest and elevate your Control Nexus.
Unlocking the Growth Chamber in Arknights: Endfield

Once the Control Nexus reaches a certain level, the Growth Chamber becomes available. This facility allows players to cultivate valuable materials like Red Bolete. Notably, each material can be harvested to produce three seeds, although the growing process requires patience.
You can assign specific Operators to expedite growth rates, but this necessitates initial character upgrades and unlocking their Manufacturing Base Skill. For instance, Da Pan specializes in reducing the growth time for fungi such as the Red and Pink Bolete.
Keep in mind that Operators possess a stamina meter; when fatigued, they take breaks. They will automatically return to their duties once refreshed. However, swapping in different characters can help maintain active buffs during production cycles.

In addition to the Growth Chamber, the Control Nexus also features a Reception Room and Manufacturing (MFG) Cabin. Players can enhance their relationships with Operators by utilizing these areas. As the Control Nexus level increases, more Assignment Slots will become available, further enriching the gameplay experience.
