Updated Daily: 5 Letter Words Not Used in Wordle Yet

Wordle has captivated audiences worldwide since its launch in June 2021. This innovative five-letter word guessing game invites players each day to uncover the day’s secret word. Its meteoric rise in popularity is reflected on social media and has paved the way for numerous derivative games, such as Quordle, Octordle, and the math-centric Nerdle.

Initially, earlier versions of this list displayed today’s Wordle solution at the beginning of the day. However, in response to user feedback, the answers will be revealed toward the day’s end.

When Wordle debuted, it featured a selection of 2,315 potential solutions. Following The New York Times’ acquisition of the game in 2022, six words—agora, pupal, lynch, fibre, slave, and wench—were excluded from the pool. Upon accessing the Wordle website, users download a script that maintains both completed and upcoming word solutions.
