Additionally, the 1v1 Arena mode, initially launched in 2022, has now been made more accessible, enabling players to engage directly through Arcade mode. Matches consist of three rounds lasting 60 seconds, and players are also given the ability to host 1v1 duels in Custom Matches.

The introduction of a new Ranked season coincides with the Update 34.1 release, offering players fresh challenges and rewards, including exclusive weapon skins and animated emblems. Furthermore, various vehicles have received functionality upgrades. Notably, the Dacia, Mirado, Pony Coupe, and Coupe RB now feature trunk storage for additional items, while other vehicles like the Buggy and Quad have improved tire durability. Vehicle Adjustments

Several vehicle modifications are included in Update 34.1:

Max Speed and Acceleration

  • The maximum speed of several vehicles has been marginally increased, with a boost speed increase of approximately 5% for:
    • UAZ, Pickup, Food Truck, Porter, Blanc
  • The maximum speed of the following has increased, with a boost speed increase of about 10%:
    • Dacia, Motorbike, Buggy, Quad, Van, Snowmobile, Boat, Dirt Bike
  • The maximum speed of the Pillar Security Car has been decreased by 10%.
  • Initial acceleration has been slightly enhanced for various vehicles, including:
    • UAZ, Dacia, Motorbike, Buggy, Quad, Pickup, Van, Food Truck, Snowmobile, Porter, Blanc, Boat, Dirt Bike
  • Initial acceleration for the Pillar Security Car has been modestly reduced.

Trunk System Enhancements

  • A trunk system is now added to the Dacia, Mirado, Pony Coupe, and Coupe RB, with capacity varying by vehicle.
  • The trunk capacity of the Pillar Security Car has been reduced from 400 to 150.

Miscellaneous Improvements

  • Dacia’s traction on snow and ice has been increased slightly.
  • The Porter’s weight has been augmented.
  • The Pillar Security Car’s weight has seen a minor increase.
  • Buggy’s tire HP has been increased.

Mk12 Adjustments

  • Vertical recoil has risen by approximately 10%.
  • Horizontal recoil has also increased by about 10%.
  • Damage over distance has been adjusted, with the maximum distance to eliminate an opponent wearing a Level 2 Helmet and Vest with one headshot and one body shot decreasing by 30%, from 118m to 83m.

7.62mm Ammo Update

  • The weight of 7.62mm ammunition has been reduced by about 15%, from 0.7 to 0.6.

  • Pump-action speed has improved from 0.61s to 0.55s.

  • Buckshot spread has increased by approximately 5%.
  • Damage has decreased from 24 to 23.

  • Damage over distance has been increased by approximately 20%.
  • Vertical recoil has decreased by about 10%.

Arcade Mode

Introduction of New 1v1 Arena

The 1v1 Arena, which was previously a feature of Training Mode, is now available in Arcade mode. Players can engage in one-on-one combat in this round-based survivor style.

Service Period (UTC)

  • PC: From February 12 to February 26, after live server maintenance until 07:00.
  • Console: From February 20 to March 6, after live server maintenance until 07:00.

Basic Rules

  • Engage in one-on-one battles until the time limit expires.
  • Players spawn in the arena and wait for their match to start.
  • Victory is awarded to the player winning the most rounds.
  • Select desired gear before each match.
  • On-screen notifications will display win streaks.

Additional Information

  • Win/draw/lose conditions mirror those of the existing 1v1 Arena in Training Mode.
  • A new ‘Ready Up’ feature lets opponents signal their readiness for combat.

Custom Matches

  • 1v1 Arena mode has been added to Custom Matches.
  • The Observer feature is also available.
  • Win streaks will be documented separately from those in Arcade and Training Mode’s 1v1 Arena.

Ranked Season Updates

Season 34 Details

  • New ranked weapon skins for the MG3 have been added as Tier Rewards (permanent) for Season 34.
  • The leaderboard will reset following live server maintenance.
  • Players can review their final Tier from the previous season on the Career page.

  • Upon the conclusion of Season 34, all rewards except weapon skins and Medals will be retracted following server maintenance.

Hideout Changes

This adjustment will be implemented with Update 34.2 on March 12.

In response to player feedback, starting from Update 34.2, the materials acquired from salvaging Progressive weapon skins will now scale with their respective levels. Previously fixed at 800 Polymer and 3 Schematics, the new scale will provide greater rewards for higher-level skins:

Settings Improvements

For players prioritizing stable performance, certain visual effects have been simplified in the Effects options below the ‘Ultra’ setting:

  • The setting within Graphics – Advanced – Effects will now also apply to building destruction and Red Zone effects on the Sanhok map.
  • The exclusive original effects will remain available only in the ‘Ultra’ option.

(PC) Event Center Updates

  • To participate in upcoming events requiring account linking that do not support KRAFTON ID, players must click the ‘Generate OTP’ button at the Event Center and use the provided OTP to link their accounts.
  • Remember that the issued OTP is valid for 24 hours from the request moment.

UI/UX Enhancements

  • New system messages will appear when the Inspect Weapon feature is unavailable.
  • Killfeed skins for Progressive weapon skins have been refined for improved consistency and readability.
  • Item slot icons have undergone positional rearrangements.
  • A new interface will indicate the expiration of time-limited items.
  • Tooltips showing additional item-related info have been updated in layout.
  • (Console) Most loading UIs have transitioned to text format.

  • Corrected hit mark discrepancies appearing outside a character’s body while prone.
  • Fixed teleportation issues during Co-op Climb.

  • Corrected UI behavior to accurately display Tactical Pack weights in trunk capacity when accessed post-drop.
  • Addressed speed and RPM display errors for the Food Truck dashboard (PC).

World Adjustments

  • Rectified various collision, texture, and performance issues across Sanhok and Erangel.
  • Fixed character entrapment at specific cliff locations in Sanhok.
  • Resolved character movement issues near specific Military Base structures in Erangel.
  • Improved character movement dynamics concerning obstructed floors in Rondo.

UX/UI Fixes

  • Corrected misalignment issues with ‘Regular’ text in the Workshop menu (Japanese language setting).
  • (PC) Fixed overlapping weapon icons when switching weapons under certain interface settings.
  • (PC) Corrected translation discrepancies in the Settings menu for Brazilian Portuguese and Polish language settings.
  • (PC) Fixed display issues with the End of Match screen in Arcade mode.

Items & Skins

  • Fixed clipping issues related to Bunny Bandit Gloves decorations.
  • Addressed clipping scenarios when wearing Bunny Academy Hazard Mask with certain jackets.
