Codenamed Arrow Lake, Intel’s upcoming 15th-generation CPUs were initially expected to launch by the end of this year. However, recent leaks indicate that this release could now occur in October 2024, which is ahead of previous expectations. The Arrow Lake processors promise substantial performance enhancements, as well as introduction of a new LGA1851 socket that will be unveiled alongside the CPUs.

Intel Arrow Lake CPUs Release Date Based on Latest Leaks
@wxnod has a track record of providing accurate leaks, including the Raptor Lake-HX mobile processors, which lends credibility to this information. Additionally, this announcement is supported by VideoCardz, which corroborated the same date for the Arrow Lake processor reveal.
VideoCardz confirms that the official announcement for Intel’s 15th-generation chips will take place on October 10, 2024. A pre-launch press briefing featuring Robert Hallow, Senior Director of Technical Marketing, and Roger Chandler, will also be conducted to prepare the media with all necessary insights regarding the Arrow Lake CPUs and their features. However, sales are not expected to commence until October 24, 2024, which is also when independent reviews on the new processors will be published online.
What to Expect from the Intel Arrow Lake CPU Launch
The Arrow Lake CPUs are anticipated to deliver notable performance advancements. These processors will debut on the new Intel LGA1851 socket, which is incompatible with earlier 13th and 14th-generation chips.
In line with Intel’s historical release trends, it’s likely that only the K variant of the Arrow Lake processors will be launched initially, featuring higher power and unlocked multipliers for overclocking. Typically, non-K and 65W models follow during the CES 2025 event.
Similarly, only the flagship Z890 motherboards will be revealed at the October 10 event this year, while mid-range B860 and more affordable H810 motherboards are expected to be announced at CES 2025. Intel’s partners have also showcased Z890 motherboards at the Computex 2024 event. Keep an eye out for more updates on Intel Arrow Lake and its 800 series motherboards.
