Housemarque’s Creative Director, Gregory Louden, emphasized the studio’s commitment to innovation, stating, “After Returnal we knew we had created something special and award-winning, but we also wanted to ensure Returnal stood on its own.”The decision to create a new IP reflects their goal to evolve their narrative-driven, third-person action gameplay.

Viewers will witness gameplay footage of Saros during the showcase, marking the first time the single-player experience will be publicly demonstrated. The game is projected for launch in 2026.
