Recently, Rakuten announced the upcoming release of the first volume of a new series by Masahiro Anbe, renowned for the Squid Girl (Ikamusume) franchise. Initially, there was speculation that this manga would be launched directly in the tankobon format without prior magazine serialization.

However, it has now been confirmed that the series will indeed be serialized in Young Magazine. The first volume is expected to be released on June 6, 2025, following a serialization that starts earlier.

Kodansha announced that Akuma de Fukei will begin serialization in Young Magazine, marking its debut on February 3, 2025.

Their amusing interactions, combined with Eclair’s quirky antics, promise to deliver entertaining escapades.

Following the success of Squid Girl, Anbe worked on Atsumare! Fushigi Kenkyuu-bu, which has yet to receive an official English translation.

The anime adaptation of Squid Girl is distributed by Sentai Filmworks in the US; however, the original manga has not been published in English.
