Kotobukiya Unveils New Ichiban Kasuga Figure from Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Kotobukiya has officially revealed that it is developing a new figure of Ichiban Kasuga, the protagonist from the latest entries in the Yakuza series, titled Like a Dragon. The announcement coincides with Ichiban’s birthday, celebrated on January 1, 2025. However, fans will need to wait a bit longer, as the figure is still in the early stages of development and no images have been released yet.

At this point, specific details regarding the Ichiban figure remain scarce. There is no concept art available, nor have any details about its scale or materials been disclosed. What we do know is that this new figure will follow the release of two other highly anticipated Yakuza figures: Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima.

Upcoming Yakuza Figures
In addition to Ichiban Kasuga, Kotobukiya is also focused on producing figures of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima. The development of these figures was confirmed in June 2024, but as of now, none are available for pre-order. The latest update on their status was shared in September 2024, though only unpainted prototypes were shown. Notably, those prototypes have been designed to complement each other in display poses.
