Each year, we witness the emergence of a few standout series, ranging from fresh adaptations to enjoyable sequels. Below, we delve into the confirmed list of new isekai anime set to grace screens in 2025.

Although this year may not have featured iconic titles, it provided a solid selection, including returns of beloved series like Re:Zero, Jobless Reincarnation, and KonoSuba. With 2024 closing soon, 2025 is already shaping up to be a promising year for isekai enthusiasts, featuring new series and an original net animation scheduled for Fall 2025.
Please note that we will focus primarily on new anime series, while sequels will not be detailed separately, as they are inherently anticipated by existing fans of those titles.
Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four!
Winter 2025
This upcoming series promises a refreshing twist within the isekai genre. Rather than featuring an overpowered protagonist overcoming challenges through sheer strength, the main character Uchimura will rely on strategic thinking and negotiation skills as he embarks on a new career path.
Produced by the smaller studios Geek Toys and CompTown, who previously worked on the unique thriller Migi to Dali, the adaptation seems to be in capable hands. Geek Toys has an impressive portfolio, including notable titles like Dead Mount Death Play and the acclaimed Date A Live series.
Promise of Wizard

Based on a Japan-exclusive video game, Promise of Wizard has already inspired two manga adaptations, indicating a well-established storyline. Although information on the anime remains limited, the involvement of Lidenfilms suggests a quality production. The concept centers around a woman chosen to be a sage and summoned to another world by a group of wizards to combat a looming threat known as The Great Calamity.
Though it may not initially attract widespread attention compared to its contemporaries in the Winter 2025 lineup, the quality of Lidenfilms’ previous works raises hopes for this adaptation’s potential success.
