Recently, the introduction of new characters Varesa and Iansan for version 5.5 was confirmed. Both Iansan and Varesa will showcase the Electro element in the game, but the announcement left players curious about their rarity—whether they will be five-star characters or perhaps a mix of five-star and four-star. Details about their respective ranks remain unconfirmed, creating anticipation among the community.
Meet Iansan: The Coach
Iansan, known for her role as a coach at Pilgrimage Victors Academy, has also trained her fellow character Varesa. Her Constellation is titled Carnotaurus, and she is described as “Tempered in Molten Stone.” Iansan even provided a detailed overview of her student, highlighting their relationship through the game’s social platforms.
Introducing Varesa: The Masked Hero
Varesa, a talented pupil of Iansan, brings her own flair to the game. Sporting the Constellation of Mascara Luctatori, her title “Strength in Serenity” encapsulates her duality. When she dons her mask, Varesa transforms from a relaxed individual into a fierce warrior known as the legendary “Masked Hero.” Iansan described her as calm and composed, which makes her combat prowess even more impressive.

Currently, players can enjoy 5.4, which features Yumemizuki Mizuki, a five-star Catalyst user from Inazuma. Her banner is live and accompanied by a rerun for Sigewinne until March 4, 2025.
