Spyro Reignited Trilogy Joins Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft’s journey in integrating Activision Blizzard games into its subscription services has made significant strides recently. Over a year post-acquisition, only a select few titles have graced Xbox Game Pass. However, the latest announcement reveals that the beloved Spyro Reignited Trilogy will soon be part of this ever-expanding library, marking an exciting addition for gamers.

This remastered collection, which has achieved remarkable commercial success with over 10 million copies sold since its 2018 debut, comprises three classic titles:

• Spyro the Dragon (1998)
• Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! (1999)
• Spyro: Year of the Dragon (2000)

These iconic games were originally developed by Insomniac Games and have undergone a stunning revival through Toys for Bob, an Activision studio that has since restructured post-Microsoft acquisition. Excitingly, the studio confirmed Microsoft will also be publishing their upcoming project, which promises to be an innovative new entry in the Spyro series.

Spyro: Year of the Dragon

In this installment, Spyro discovers that the sacred Dragon Eggs have been stolen by the cunning Sorceress. This sets off an adventurous journey where Spyro must recover the eggs, meet new allies, attain new abilities, and discover vibrant realms filled with treasures and challenges.

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be available on Xbox Game Pass Standard, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass starting November 12, bringing classic gameplay to a new generation of players.
