My theory suggests a potentially significant link to the infamous Order 66. Throughout the series, Skeleton Crew consistently demonstrates its prowess in weaving mysteries into the narrative. While the origins of At Attin and the identity of Jude Law’s character, Jod Na Nawood, have prompted much speculation, the identity of the Supervisor remains a deeply shrouded secret.

Recently highlighted in episode 7, the Supervisor’s influence and power are unmistakable. The deliberate concealment of their identity hints at a potentially dramatic revelation ahead. My hypothesis is that the Supervisor could share intriguing parallels with Jod, possibly wielding even greater capabilities than previously recognized—abilities that might soon be revealed to the audience.

Jod’s status as a Force user presents a significant threat, even though his powers seem limited to basic functions like retrieving objects and freeing himself from restraints. Nevertheless, his presence is far more dangerous on At Attin now that he has a lightsaber.

The key to countering Jod and his pirate entourage lies with the Supervisor. The inhabitants of At Attin appear largely untrained in combat or self-defense, having been insulated from the galaxy’s violence, making the Supervisor’s intervention all the more crucial. Their capability may come as a surprise as the series progresses.

Jod/Rennod’s Lightsaber May Have Once Belonged To The Supervisor

Its Origins Are Still Unknown

If the lightsaber now in Jod’s possession did, in fact, belong to the Supervisor, then this could create a fierce matchup between the two. The mysterious origins of this lightsaber raise questions, as it features an unrecognized design and could plausibly have been salvaged by Rennod on At Attin. He may have acquired it either through theft from the Supervisor or through some form of trade or deal. Regardless, the possibility remains that this weapon was originally wielded by the Supervisor.

Notably, the hilt design bears resemblance to lightsabers used by Jedi during the High Republic era, characterized by their ornate gold embellishments. This leads to the key question: why would the Supervisor possess such a weapon? At Attin’s origins may trace back to the High Republic, a time when Jedi flourished throughout the galaxy, marking a powerful era.

If the Supervisor did once serve as a High Republic Jedi, this would be an exhilarating connection to the broader Star Wars narrative.

The Supervisor Could Be A Jedi Hiding From Order 66

At Attin Would Be The Safest Place To Stay Hidden

All Jedi face mortality, including venerable figures like Yoda. This raises the possibility of a lineage of Jedi serving as Supervisors on At Attin, entrusted by the Republic due to their abilities and authority. Should this be the case, the Supervisor during Order 66 would have witnessed the fall of their comrades and likely experienced acute paranoia concerning their own safety.

This could elucidate the stringent regulations on communications and travel within At Attin, suggesting a fear-driven response from a Jedi leader trying to evade detection. The Supervisor likely implemented these extreme measures, including stunning parents sending out a single communicator, to guard against the looming shadow of Order 66. The seclusion of At Attin might represent an optimal hiding spot from such a cataclysmic event.

Introducing another survivor from the Order 66 tragedy into Star Wars lore would certainly not be unprecedented. This could provide a formidable counterbalance to Jod, as no other character may stand a chance against him. A climactic battle between Jod and a potential Jedi opponent could unveil critical revelations, particularly regarding Jod’s true identity.
