This guide delves into everything you need to know about unlocking Videl in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
Unlocking Videl in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
Even though Videl is not a Saiyan, she boasts impressive combat skills and abilities. Her moves, including Afterimage Strike and Videl Rush, prove to be quite powerful. Initially locked, there are two ways through which you can access her in the game.
Unlock Videl via the Game Shop
The simplest approach to unlock Videl is through the in-game shop. To navigate there, access Shop & Customize from the Main Menu. In the character section, you can purchase Videl for 30,000 Zeni. You can earn Zeni by participating in World Tournaments or completing episode battles in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
Unlock Videl by Advancing in Gohan’s Saga
Alternatively, Videl can be unlocked by completing a mission within Gohan’s Saga if you’re hesitant about spending Zeni. It’s crucial to choose the right dialogue option during the mission to gain access to her.
Follow these steps to unlock Videl:
- Navigate from the Main Menu to Episode & Custom → Episode Battle and initiate Gohan’s episode battle.
- Complete the first three chapters: Android/Cell Arc.
- In the Majin Buu Arc (chapter 4), commence the initial mission: Chaos at the World Tournament.
After progressing through several cutscenes, you will witness Spopovich attacking Videl. The game will then present you with two choices. To unlock Videl, ensure you select: Attempt to stop the fight.
Following this, you will engage in a battle against Spopovich utilizing Gohan’s Super Saiyan form. Upon your victory, Videl will be unlocked as a reward, along with 15,000 Zeni and Player EXP for leveling up.
