The Warden Archetype is undoubtedly one of the standout features in Remnant 2’s The Dark Horizon expansion. This Archetype introduces a fresh way to engage in the dynamic gameplay of Remnant 2, and it is arguably the most beginner-friendly Archetype in the entire game, even surpassing the Handler.
To unlock the Warden, you will need to venture through N’Erud. Fortunately, you won’t easily overlook the Warden, provided you thoroughly explore the new map before diving into the thrilling boss battles. Compared to acquiring the Ritualist and the Invoker, obtaining the Warden is significantly simpler.
How to Find the Warden Archetype in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon?
The Warden Archetype is obtained using the Command Module key item. To acquire this Command Module, you first need to navigate to the inner circle of the Waylaid Conservatory. The best approach to find the Warden is to start the DLC fresh via the One-shot Adventure option while selecting a new Adventure and difficulty level.
The One-shot Adventure ensures that your initial run through The Dark Horizon features enemies and items that are unique to the DLC, without interference from base game elements. This simplifies the process of locating key items like Archetypes and DLC-exclusive rings.
Upon starting The Dark Horizon DLC, you will eventually come to the Waylaid Conservatory fast travel node, which kicks off your quest for the Warden Archetype. Here are the steps to easily find the area containing the Command Module key item in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon:
- From the node, head north towards the glider station and use the glider to reach the cliff beyond the Custodian.
- Continue gliding to the right, keeping close to the right-hand wall, until you arrive at a hidden area with two wind pillars.
- After ascending the second wind pillar, you will discover a doorway that you can land in front of.
- From the doorway, make a sharp left turn and cross the lengthy bridge ahead.
- Keep following the path along the long bridge, and you will reach the Command Module.
After acquiring the Command Module, simply deliver it to Wallace in Ward 13 to receive the Warden Archetype. To equip it, navigate to the Archetype tab, and under your primary slot, select the Warden. You can also equip the Warden as your secondary Archetype if you have unlocked that slot.
