Strange Antiquities invites players into a captivating world filled with intriguing puzzles aimed at unlocking new treasures and areas within the shop. Fortunately, these challenges are usually straightforward, often requiring players to engage in some clever lateral thinking alongside their collection of artifacts.
One of the earliest puzzles you will encounter is set within an alcove that sits slightly below the center of the screen, where customers frequently come asking for assistance.
Clue Note

During Day 6 of the game, a crucial piece of information is provided by Simone Green, known as The Librarian. She hands you a note that lists two of the essential objects required to place on the plinths, along with a fragment of the name of a third object.
Two of the Three Antiques
By this stage, you will have already encountered all three artifacts. The two named items on the list are the Horned Shackle and the Evocant. For your convenience, images of both items are included below.
To progress, simply position these artifacts on the pedestals in the order specified: place the Horned Shackle on the left-most plinth, followed by the Evocant on the middle pedestal.
Moon-Something
The next step involves deciphering the clue referring to ‘a Moon-something’.As The Librarian states, ‘the writing is so dense and spidery that it’s not always easy to decipher’.
Upon reviewing your collection of antiquities, the most apparent candidate might be the ‘Moonstone Guardian’ due to its name. However, this particular item is not yet available, revealing that it serves as a red herring.
The real solution lies in checking for the Moon entry within the index, where you will discover the antique known as the ‘Selenic Totem’.Notably, it is also referenced as a Moon Heart, a term mentioned earlier in the game.
Placement and Rewards

Find the Selenic Totem in your collection and carefully position it on the right-hand plinth. Successfully completing this task unlocks a secret room containing four additional antiquities and two rune squares, which will prove valuable as you progress.
With this, you have completed the Plinth Alcove puzzle. While adding all the artifacts to the third plinth could also be a valid approach, rest assured that the puzzles within the shop can be resolved without dire consequences or failure states.
