One notable instance is found in Ghost of Yotei, where players can discover various collectibles, including a charming mask and armor dye inspired by the beloved Sly Cooper series.
This guide will detail the steps to unlock the Sly Thief Mask and the Sly Bandit Dye, which add a playful twist reminiscent of the favorite titular character to your gameplay experience.
Acquiring the Sly Thief Mask
Your first objective is to obtain the Sly Thief Mask. To achieve this, players must complete the Shiro the Swindler bounty. This mission is assigned by Kojiro, located in the Ishikari Plains region, where you will be pursuing the nefarious Oni of the Yotei Six.
After securing the bounty, navigate to the Yokai’s Nest location depicted above. You’ll need to engage in a sequence with Shiro, teaming up to infiltrate the enemy Fortress in a mission known as the Great Jigoku Gambit.
Defeating Commander Kudo concludes this escapade. Although Shiro makes a hasty exit off-screen, completing the bounty will reward you with the Sly Thief Mask.
Unlocking the Sly Bandit Dye
While there’s no dedicated armor set based on the Sly Cooper franchise, players can enjoy the next best option: the Sly Bandit Dye, designed for the Mercenary Attire. This armor dye mirrors the aesthetic style seen in the original game, where Jin also received a similar look.
The Mercenary Attire becomes available during the main storyline quest titled Belly of the Beast. The Sly Bandit Dye showcases Sly Cooper’s distinctive blue and yellow color scheme, enhancing your character’s style.
To use the Sly Bandit Dye, you will need to venture to Oshima Coast, as illustrated in the images provided. However, there’s a prerequisite: ensure that you have the Wayward Oni Raiders bounty activated, which can be obtained from Kojiro at Matsumae Castle.
This bounty will lead you to the designated location where you’ll face off against raiders. After defeating them, proceed slightly further into the area to discover a small box containing the Sly Bandit Dye.
