Locating the Renegade Prisoner in Ninja Time
Before players can engage in the Friends quest, they must locate a specific NPC known as the Renegade Prisoner. This character is not marked on the in-game map, increasing the likelihood of being overlooked. However, knowing his location simplifies your quest progression significantly.
Your journey to find the Renegade Prisoner begins by traveling southeast from Konoha until you reach the Uchiha village. Once there, look for a building resembling a police station, complete with cells intended for housing criminals. The Renegade Prisoner can be found inside one of these cells.
Steps to Unlock the Friends Quest in Ninja Time
Interestingly, while the Renegade Prisoner doesn’t explicitly mention it, there’s a crucial condition players must meet: they need to acquire the Crimson Inferno skill mode prior to initiating the Friends quest.
This skill is exclusive to members of the Red Eyes clan. To unlock it, players must enhance their Eyes skill tree, which will grant them access to the desired ability.
Once the Crimson Inferno skill is unlocked, players should activate it to penetrate the conditions necessary to speak with the Renegade Prisoner. Although this mode doesn’t alter your character’s appearance, it allows you to engage him to kick off the Friends quest.
