Locating the Mausoleum Gates in Metaphor ReFantazio

During your initial exploration of the Mausoleum, you’ll find that it’s impossible to unlock the Mausoleum gates, regardless of your approach. This takes place shortly after investigating the Regalith Grand Cathedral and defeating the first boss within the Mausoleum. These gates will remain sealed until later in the narrative.

As players progress to the narrative segment involving the town of Martira, engaging in dialogue with a noble character will initiate a quest that brings you back to the Mausoleum for a second visit. Unfortunately, just like the first encounter, the gates will still be locked at this stage. Nevertheless, there exists a technique to force these gates open.
