Hello Kitty Island Adventure is primarily set within the lively confines of Big Adventures Park, but players can unlock various intriguing locations beyond this main area, notably Cloud Island. To gain access to these new realms, you must progress significantly in the primary storyline and build relationships with the island’s residents.

Cloud Island is a treasure trove of fresh experiences awaiting discovery, including two new characters to befriend, a range of stylish clothing and furniture, exciting new recipes, and a brand new appliance. Although Merry Meadow offers easier access, reaching Cloud Island involves several prerequisites: specifically, you must restore all areas of the main island and achieve certain friendship levels and quest completions first.

Restoration Tasks in Various Locations

As you immerse yourself in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, one of your chief objectives will be to aid Hello Kitty and her Sanrio companions in revitalizing different island areas. Besides the main Resort, it will be essential to restore locations such as Spooky Swamp, Gemstone Mountain, Mount Hothead, and Rainbow Reef. Each of these regions includes specific quests, each with its unique set of prerequisites.

In general, the island’s diverse areas can be repaired in any order, but naturally progressing through the game will unlock them in the most logical sequence. Therefore, prioritizing friendship levels and completing available Island-Mystery quests is advisable. When it comes to restoring the island, you’ll encounter two quest types: Power Crystal quests and Star Fragment quests, with the latter beginning to unveil the characters Kiki and Lala.

If you find yourself unsure why a quest hasn’t become available, you can access the quest log on your in-game phone and check the requirements for each endeavor. If a quest isn’t showing on your list yet, it implies you are still far from meeting its conditions.

Moreover, keep an eye on TOPHAT, who may appear in the map’s upper right corner.TOPHAT has one final quest that you must complete to unlock Cloud Island.

It’s also important to note that if a resident is currently engaged in a friendship quest, they won’t be available for story quests until their existing obligations have been fulfilled.

Once the Stargazing quest is initiated, navigate to the crescent moon-shaped island during the night to meet Hello Kitty. Interacting with her will trigger a scene where other island residents gather to stargaze. As the group watches the stars, several will fall, and it’s your responsibility to locate all the fallen Sky Fragments based on approximate map locations.

The first Sky Fragment is easily accessible, landing near where the stargazing takes place. Collecting this fragment kickstarts the Stargazing quest. Thankfully, if you’ve unlocked various fast-travel locations across Hello Kitty Island Adventure, gathering the remaining fragments will be straightforward. Be sure to engage with the residents at each fragment’s location for successful collection.

After successfully collecting all the Sky Fragments—similar to the Power Crystal collectibles—return to Hello Kitty on Moon Island. A brief conversation about the fragments will ensue, leading to all fragments merging to create a star. This event will unveil a mysterious portal, which, upon interaction, will transport you to Cloud Island.

Upon arriving, you’ll meet Kiki and Lala, who are not your typical visitors but rather interactable residents ready to build friendships, resembling how players interact with Wish me mell in Merry Meadow. It becomes crucial to prioritize your relationship with them to fully experience Cloud Island.

Finally, engage with Hello Kitty at the portal’s exit; she will initially express confusion about the new area. Once the fog clears, Kiki and Lala will introduce themselves, confirming your arrival at Cloud Island. This marks the conclusion of the Stargazing quest, unlocking the full range of adventures and mysteries that Hello Kitty Island Adventure has to offer.
