In the realm of Hollow Knight: Silksong, your identity is that of a wanderer—a valiant knight traversing the perilous landscapes, consistently engaged in battles and bereft of comfort. The sole sanctuary you might find comes in the form of rudimentary benches scattered throughout your journey, serving as your only reprieve.
However, imagine a momentary departure from this unending quest. What if you could establish a place you could truly call home?
Fortunately, following your triumph over the Widow, you’ll come across an unoccupied house belonging to Bellhart, ripe for some personal touches. Players with enough Rosaries—or the in-game currency—can seize the chance to refurbish this dwelling and transform it into a snug retreat. Here’s a guide on how to secure your cozy abode while showcasing your impressive achievements.
Unlocking Your New Home
Similar to real-life housing markets, buying a home in this game isn’t exactly affordable. The essential first step is to complete every quest listed on Bellhart’s Wishboard, including two specific restoration quests.
- Restoration of Bellhart – 250 Rosaries
- Bellhart’s Glory – 400 Rosaries
It’s advisable to delay your purchase until you’ve made your way to the Citadel. This location not only offers fantastic Rosary farming opportunities but also contains a unique item accessible exclusively within the Memorium area, also located in the Citadel.
After fulfilling all quests in the Bellhart región and donating the necessary Rosaries, engage with Pavo; he will recognize your dedication and reward you with the home key. If he doesn’t hand it over right away, consider stepping away from the area briefly before returning.
When I finally managed to secure my own house, I had meticulously completed all the wishboard quests across every primary hub. It’s worth noting that fulfilling all wishboard quests may influence Pavo’s decision to grant you the key.
Showcase Your Achievements
Material

The Materium adds an intriguing layer to your gameplay experience by providing insight into your adventures. You can locate it near the peak of Memorium in the Citadel. To access this area, you’ll need the Faydown Cloak.
Once installed in your house, the Materium enables you to view various items you’ve collected throughout your journey:
- Quest Objects
- Relics
- Psalm Cylinders
- Mementos
While it does not provide tangible benefits, this feature invites you to reflect on your past achievements.
Farsight

The Farsight, which you can acquire in the abyss at the start of Act 3, offers more statistics regarding your journey once placed in your home.
Installing this object will let you monitor your overall game completion status. For instance, by checking your save file, you’ll find a completion percentage displayed along with indicators for missing items in your tool inventory. While not essential, it enhances your quality of life in the game.
Enhancing Your Home
With your house key in hand, visit the shop in Bellhart where you’ll discover a variety of items designed to enhance your domicile.
Item | Description | Rosary Price |
---|---|---|
Desk | This cosmetic item replaces your Materium. Sit at your desk to admire your collected treasures. | 380 |
Gleamlights | These hang from the ceiling of your home, providing illumination and charm. | 320 |
Bell Lacquer | Purchasing this will allow you to paint your bell. However, be aware it takes some time to complete. | 520 |
Personal Spa | The most expensive option, this spa enables you to rest and recover all health and silk. | 1100 |
Are these upgrades truly worthwhile? Perhaps not; I found that purchasing these items didn’t significantly enhance gameplay. However, if you have an excess of Rosaries and are seeking a way to spend, consider treating yourself!
