As you advance through your CODE levels in Freedom Wars Remastered, you’ll encounter a variety of new floors filled with opportunities and story missions that require navigation between these areas. Each journey can feel prolonged and tedious, especially as running has its limitations, which can also contribute to a longer sentence. Thankfully, a quick-travel feature can be unlocked in the Panopticon. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to do it.
Unlocking Quick Travel in Freedom Wars Remastered
The functionality for fast travel becomes available towards the latter part of CODE level 2; however, access is restricted until you reach CODE level 3. To initiate the process, advance through the main storyline until you can interact with the Window of Liberty in your cell. Navigate to the Interface Entitlements menu, and tab over to the “Misc.”section. Here, you will find the Quick-Travel Permit, which can be unlocked for 250 Entitlement Points.
Entitlement Points are accrued by successfully completing operations or donating resources when you’re in a pinch.
Utilizing Quick Travel in Freedom Wars Remastered
Once you acquire the Permit, it becomes active immediately and remains available at all times. To initiate quick travel, you must first request to leave your cell, as this feature can solely be accessed within the main area of the Panopticon. Outside your cell, open the map to select from various areas by tapping through the top left section to change floors, and scrolling through the menu on the left side to choose specific locations.
Selecting a location will transport you there directly after a brief loading period, without any costs or penalties. Notably, main quest objectives are clearly marked with a yellow exclamation mark on the left side of your screen, aiding in efficient navigation towards your targets.
Although quick-traveling facilitates swift movement across the game’s landscape, remember that random resources can be found in the main floors of each block within your Panopticon, respawning each time you enter a new area. While these resources may not be particularly high-value, traversing between locations remains a viable strategy for gathering materials over time.
