Spike Chunsoft has unveiled its latest addition to the gaming universe, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, which is now accessible to players with the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition. After much anticipation, a vibrant new Dragon Ball experience is finally here for fans. This game boasts an impressive character roster, arguably one of the largest seen in any fighting game, providing players with a variety of choices.

With a staggering 181 characters available, players have the freedom to select their preferred fighters. But how does one unlock these characters in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero? Let’s delve into the details.

In Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, players can acquire characters by purchasing them from the in-game store. However, this requires Zeni, the game’s currency. As players engage in battles, their character level rises, allowing access to additional characters in the store. By reaching player level 20, most characters will be available for purchase, though players should allocate approximately 15-17 hours of gameplay to achieve this milestone.

Furthermore, many characters become automatically available as rewards for successfully completing battles. To unlock the complete roster using Zeni, anticipate needing around 3 million Zeni total. Additionally, unlocking one character will also reveal all of that character’s variants.

Therefore, players must unlock 47 unique characters to access the full lineup of 181 characters, including their variants. However, note that Goku Mini is the sole character that cannot be unlocked, as he is limited to those who pre-ordered the game, specifically the Digital or Ultimate editions.
