Martina Navratilova was appalled by a controversial meme shared by Donald Trump’s son that targeted Michelle Obama, expressing her outrage publicly.

Recently, an age-old conspiracy theory about ex-First Lady Michelle Obama has resurfaced on the internet. This theory alleges that the former President’s wife is either a man or a transgender woman, and also suggests that Barack Obama is homosexual.

The controversial Donald Trump Jr., son of former president Donald Trump, has once again stirred up controversy by sharing a meme on his Instagram account targeting Michelle Obama. This comes as no surprise, as Trump Jr. has faced criticism in the past for indulging in conspiracy theories and posting memes that attack other politicians. A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared,

Despite facing a wave of criticism, Trump Jr. stood by his ‘meme’ which sparked shock and disgust among many who saw it as a disrespectful attack on the former First Lady. Among those who spoke out against it was renowned American Tennis Legend Martina Navratilova, who is known for her outspoken nature and has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump. She voiced her outrage over Trump Jr.’s offensive ‘meme’.

In February of this year, Trump Jr shared a photo on his Instagram of former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Levon Kirkland with the caption “I found this rare Michelle Obama rookie card.”He mentioned feeling nostalgic about the Super Bowl and clarified that it was meant as a joke. However, he also took a subtle jab by admitting he wasn’t completely certain if it was a joke.

Martina Navratilova strongly criticized the former President’s son, labeling him as a racist and misogynistic individual. She expressed her desire for him to be in a state of misery.

“What a pathetic loser Don Jr truly is. Racist and misogynistic beyond belief. I hope he is as miserable as he is racist.”
