Quick Navigation
Dragon Ball DAIMA kicked off with Goku and his allies being shrunk down to childlike dimensions. This transformation posed challenges, especially against Supreme Demon King Gomah, who has been enhanced by the Evil Third Eye’s dark magic. Now, with the potential summoning of Demon Realm Porunga, Earth’s defenders may have their final opportunity to reverse their fortunes before the series wraps up.
The episode intensified as Goku was poised to take down the last Tamagami and summon Demon Realm’s eternal dragon. However, dual schemes from the villains complicated matters. Dr. Arinsu, confident in her warrior, suggested Majin Duu battle Goku, staking all three Demon Realm Dragon Balls on the outcome. Just as tensions rose, Gomah entered with the formidable power of the Tertian Oculus, proving too much even for Super Saiyan 4 Goku (Mini). The anticipation for Porunga’s game-changing wish builds as the series approaches its climax.

Viewers of Dragon Ball DAIMA know that events rarely follow the expected trajectory. Initially, Supreme Demon King Gomah aimed to execute his own plans only to be thwarted by Shenron’s wish limitations. He managed to reduce Earth’s heroes to their childlike forms, yet the Evil Third Eye’s power was granted to him after numerous episodes. Throughout the narrative, it seemed that Dr. Arinsu posed the greatest threat to Goku and the team, aided by the Majin brothers, but Glorio would prove pivotal.
In the closing moments of Episode 18, Arinsu’s true intentions became clear as she commanded Glorio to retrieve the other two Dragon Balls. Panzy, Bulma, and the others were stunned to see Glorio align with Arinsu. However, as he faced the weight of his decisions, memories of camaraderie with Goku, Panzy, and the group surged within him, culminating in a decisive moment. Glorio uttered a wish that ultimately reversed the effects of Gomah’s initial spell. Suddenly, the heroes regained their adult forms, much to Arinsu’s bewilderment. Feeling betrayed, she dismissed Glorio, but he was welcomed back by Goku and the team.
Gomah Versus Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta
Another Villain Joins Goku

With heroes restored to their former glory, Goku quickly suggested a return to individual combat. However, Vegeta asserted himself first, having previously battled Majin Duu. After testing the waters with his base form, Vegeta unleashed his most potent transformation—Super Saiyan 3. This marked a notable milestone as it was his first full-sized appearance in the franchise.
Although Vegeta’s transformation brought an immense power boost, Gomah remained resilient, further empowered by the Evil Third Eye. Vegeta soon faced the inherent challenges of maintaining Super Saiyan 3, struggling against depleting energy levels. Recognizing the urgency, Arinsu recalled critical knowledge from her past and sent Majin Kuu to fetch her Book of Magic Items to aid the fight.
With insights from the tome, Arinsu became the second antagonist this episode to pivot and lend support to the heroes. She revealed to Goku and the others that targeting the back of Gomah’s head three times consecutively could neutralize the Tertian Oculus. True to the series’ tradition, she downplayed her assistance, insisting her motivation was solely to see Gomah defeated. With proper coordination, Goku executed a series of transformations, culminating in a spectacular display as the full-sized Super Saiyan 4 Goku prepared for the decisive battle against Supreme Demon King Gomah. As the penultimate episode of this season unfolds, all eyes are on the climactic confrontation ahead.
