The newly introduced emote, titled Photograph, will be freely accessible to all players post the arrival of patch 7.18, which eliminates any need for purchases associated with the Instax range. This approach emphasizes inclusivity, allowing every player to immerse themselves in this unique feature without additional cost.

Joining the Contest for In-Game Rewards

The FFXIV Instax Photograph Emote Contest offers an exciting way for players to engage with the game beyond standard gameplay. Participants will have the chance to earn exclusive in-game rewards by simply snapping and sharing screenshots from their adventures in FFXIV. To qualify for participation, players are required to have an account on X social media where they can showcase their photographs. The contest runs from February 27 to March 23, 2025, with an impressive 10, 000 winners selected to receive one of three special cosmetic items.
