Delta Force offers an engaging multiplayer experience, especially through its Ranked mode. This competitive environment allows players to showcase their skills, albeit with a unique twist that might bewilder newcomers familiar with traditional competitive gaming structures.
If you aspire to ascend the leaderboards in Delta Force’s multiplayer sessions, it’s crucial to enable the Ranked mode from the main menu. Before diving in, it’s essential to understand how this ranking system operates.
Understanding Ranked Play in Delta Force

First and foremost, The Ranked mode in Delta Force does not feature a distinct matchmaking queue. Players will be matched with others of similar skill levels through the game’s Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM) system, ensuring consistent match quality. When you activate Ranked mode, you will accumulate Merit Points after each match.
Your performance directly influences the amount of Merit Points earned, allowing you to advance through the ranks. Here’s a brief overview of the points required for each major rank:
- Private III: 0
- Corporal III: 450
- Sergeant IV: 900
- Lieutenant IV: 1700
- Colonel V: 2500
- General V: 3750
- Marshal: 5000
In the Operations mode, you gain points by defeating both NPCs and players as well as successfully extracting valuable resources. Conversely, in Ranked Warfare, your Merit Points are calculated based on your Score Per Minute (SPM)—which you can earn through a variety of in-game actions such as eliminating opponents, resupplying allies, and constructing defensive measures.
It’s worth noting that winning isn’t a requirement for earning Merit Points. However, as your rank increases, the criteria for accumulating points become more stringent, and failing to meet these expectations could lead to point deductions.
Strategies for Rapid Ranking Up in Delta Force

Ranking up in the Warfare mode is typically more straightforward than in Operations. In the latter, the objective is not only to eliminate enemies but also to carry valuable loot while ensuring your survival. In Warfare, focusing on support roles—such as healing, resupplying, and reviving teammates—can significantly boost your SPM.
Even without engaging in combat, you can still achieve a high rank in the scoreboard by playing support roles effectively. However, if you prefer a more aggressive approach, consider using effective weapons such as the QCQ171 to enhance your offensive capabilities.
Don’t forget to utilize the 2x Merit Cards obtainable from events and the Battle Pass. To access these, navigate to the Collections section at the bottom of the main menu screen.
Rewards Available in Delta Force Ranked Mode

The rewards you earn from Ranked mode are predominantly cosmetic. Upon reaching new ranks, you will have the opportunity to unlock various skins in addition to earning Weapon XP Tokens. Achieving the season’s highest rank provides the added prestige of a special emblem displayed on your player card, visible on loading screens and after defeating opponents.
To view the current season’s ranked rewards, simply enter the Ranked mode screen from the main menu and select the Rewards button located on the right side.
