Undead Unluck originated as a manga serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump, crafted by the talented Yoshifumi Tozuka. The manga has been ongoing since 2020 and has amassed a total of 23 volumes to date.
The storyline unfolds ten years after a catastrophic event that claimed hundreds of lives, including that of Fuuko Izumo’s parents, when she was just eight years old. Since then, Fuuko has distanced herself from society due to her unfortunate “unluck”ability, which inadvertently brings misfortune to those around her. Despite her tragic past, she yearns for a romantic connection. One fateful day, she encounters Andy, an intriguing immortal man who wishes for death, which he finds unbearable.
