Yesterday, an Uncharted 4 rating from one of the classification organizations appeared on the network. This confirms that the PC and PS5 versions will be poorer than the original PS4.
The ESRB mentioned in the description of the game that there are no “interactive elements” in it. In the understanding of the classification organization, this means that there are no network elements in the game that allow you to interact with other players. Simply put, Uncharted 4 will be released in a new version for PC and PlayStation 5 without a multiplayer mode. This is not yet completely certain, although I doubt the ESRB made a mistake. Interaction information appears in the evaluations of the original U4 release.
The PS4 version of Uncharted 4 has an online mode. Players can compete against each other in online skirmishes. In addition, the game has a kind of co-op horde mode.
Porting multiplayer to other platforms will be costly. The PlayStation, after all, depends primarily on PC players getting to know the U4 campaign because that’s the core element of the game. Therefore, the possible removal of multiplayer from the updated game is not a big surprise.
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection is due out in early 2022. We will play on PC and PlayStation 5.
