A Guide to Multiplayer in Tamagotchi Plaza
It’s important to note that the multiplayer experience is restricted to local gameplay, requiring two JoyCons or controllers from the Nintendo Switch. As of now, online multiplayer functionalities are not available for Tamagotchi Plaza.
When engaging in local multiplayer, the available venues are limited to specific shops within Tamagotchi Plaza:
- Dentist
- Rap Battle Venue
Additionally, there are special secret shops to unlock, the multiplayer features of which remain untested. We will keep this page updated as we gather more information.
To initiate multiplayer gameplay, players must enter either the Dentist or the Rap Battle Venue, where they will receive an option to select either ‘Solo’ or ‘Duo’ mode.
After choosing ‘Duo’, players will have another choice between ‘Sharing’ or ‘Holding Hands’: the Sharing mode is designed for those using two JoyCons, while the Holding Hands mode accommodates two separate Switch controllers.
Once your devices are synchronized, you and your partner can dive into the mini-games together, enjoying a cooperative experience rather than tackling challenges solo!
