The side quest known as Jar Enthusiasts in The First Berserker: Khazan may not be essential for progressing in the game, but completing it is highly recommended. By doing so, players unlock a valuable merchant in the Crevice, enhancing their game experience.
This quest requires players to find a total of six hidden Jarlings for the character Danjin. Fortunately, all six Jarlings reside in the same general area, which simplifies the quest, despite the fact that they are cleverly concealed.
If you’re struggling to locate the required Jarlings, our comprehensive guide to the Jar Enthusiasts quest in The First Berserker: Khazan will help you navigate this challenge.
Starting the Jar Enthusiasts Quest

The Jar Enthusiasts quest becomes available after completing the main mission titled “First Act of Revenge.” Following this, players can initiate the quest at the Charnak Mountain Range portal, located in Phraugh Village.
To start the quest, interact with Danjin, who can be found near the Blade Nexus. He will request assistance in locating the six Jarlings. It’s important to prepare adequately, as the enemies in this area are quite formidable. Enhancing your character’s stats beforehand is advisable.
Location of Jarling #1
To locate the first Jarling, head straight from the Blade Nexus until you come across a building featuring a ladder. Ascend the ladder, then turn left to find a pot adjacent to a bridge. Breaking this pot will reveal the first Jarling, which you can interact with to send back to Danjin. Be mindful of an invisible enemy lurking nearby.
Location of Jarling #2
From the first Jarling’s location, cross the bridge and traverse the rooftops until reaching the end. Jump down from the roof and proceed straight to find another bridge to cross. On this side, defeat another invisible enemy before climbing down the two ladders located right behind where the enemy was.
Once on the ground floor, turn around and enter the building to discover a pot in the corner of the right side. Destroy this pot to uncover the second Jarling and complete the interaction to send it back to Danjin.
Location of Jarling #3
From the location of the second Jarling, exit the building and make a hard right to find a small staircase. Ascend the stairs and take out the invisible enemy that approaches. Afterward, proceed straight into the building and climb the ladder you find inside.
Once at the top, you’ll notice buildings on both the left and right sides. Enter the building on the left to find a pot in the corner containing the third Jarling.
Location of Jarling #4
To find the fourth Jarling, exit the building from which you found the third Jarling and turn left. Keep following the path until you spot a building with a bloody corpse outside. Enter this building.
Inside, check the left corner for a group of pots. Destroying them will reveal the fourth Jarling, which you can collect and return to Danjin.
Location of Jarling #5

The fifth Jarling is located just a short distance from the fourth. Exit the building where you found the fourth Jarling and continue straight until you reach a small arch-like structure at the top of some stairs.
Look to the right of the stairs to find another pot. Destroy it to uncover the fifth Jarling and interact with it to return to Danjin.
Location of Jarling #6

The sixth and final Jarling is situated at the end of the level. From the area where you found the fifth Jarling, move straight until you encounter a closed gate along the main path.
Prepare for another battle as you defeat the last invisible enemy near the gate. Then turn left to find a pot that holds the final Jarling. After collecting all the Jarlings, return them to Danjin to complete the quest.
Quest Rewards for Jar Enthusiasts

Upon gathering all Jarlings, interact with the Blade Nexus to return to the Crevice.
Once there, Danjin will greet you and express his gratitude. With your help in retrieving his Jarlings, he will now serve as a merchant.
Danjin is a crucial asset in The First Berserker: Khazan, providing a variety of lanterns that offer different abilities, such as revealing concealed enemies and preventing the resurrection of undead foes.
