Ultimate Guide to Fisch Spear Fishing Techniques

Spear Fishing introduces an exciting method for anglers in Fisch, enabling players to capture a variety of tropical fish lurking beneath the waters of the Lost Jungle. This engaging technique opens the door to numerous new species, ranging from common, vibrant catches to rare exotic varieties.

Additionally, spear fishing serves as an effective means for lower-level players to earn experience points (XP).The initial investment is relatively minimal, and you’ll often encounter Legendary-rarity fish, which can provide substantial XP gains.

This guide outlines how to embark on your spear fishing adventure in Fisch and provides an overview of crafting your own spears after gathering the necessary materials.

Getting Started with Spear Fishing in Fisch

To get started with spear fishing, the first step is to procure both a spear and seek out the appropriate fish species. Head to the Lost Jungle and locate the craftsman’s hut situated at the far end of the village, identifiable by its anvil.

Adjacent to the anvil, you’ll find the Flimsy Spear available for just $900, which is sufficient for your fishing needs. Should you desire more power, options like the Mini-Spear for $9, 000 and another, more robust spear priced at $15, 000 are available, allowing you to choose based on your budget.

After selecting your spear, navigate to the creeks, pools, or mangroves of the Lost Jungle. Here, you’ll observe a notable difference compared to other areas in Fisch—the fish are visible swimming around!

To equip your spear, access your equipment bag and select the “Spears” tab. Your chosen spear will appear in your quick bar as it does with a traditional fishing rod.

With the spear ready, approach a visible fish and tap or click to initiate the spearing mini-game. This requires you to tap or click rapidly to secure your catch.

For players, spear fishing can present a more straightforward and engaging experience than conventional fishing. The mechanic is simpler, and seeing the fish as you approach significantly enhances your chances of landing the desired catch. While you may not always capture the same fish exactly, you can usually anticipate the outcome when you start the mini-game right next to them in the water.

This unique approach allows you to target the Legendary-tier Piraiba, a long grey fish, quickly earning XP, particularly advantageous for lower-level players. At night, consider pursuing Mythical-tier Stingrays for even greater XP gains.

Crafting Your Own Spears in Fisch

To create more effective spears, such as the Barbed Spear and the Poison-tipped Spear, return to the anvil located in the craftsman’s hut within the Lost Jungle.

Begin by collecting driftwood, specifically with the Shrouded or Poisoned mutations, which can be found throughout the Lost Jungle, along with a barbed spearhead.

Driftwood is a common item throughout the world, but for the necessary mutations, fishing in the Jungle is your best bet. To obtain a barbed spearhead, descend into the Lost Temple by climbing down the rope located in the Jungle’s center and complete the puzzle rooms available there. You can then combine the spearhead with driftwood at the anvil to forge a stronger spear.

For the poison-tipped spear, keep solving puzzles inside the Lost Temple, and then bring the poison head to the anvil along with additional driftwood.

With this new fishing technique in mind, consider augmenting your adventures by building a Submarine for exploration. Alternatively, if you prefer traditional fishing, make sure to utilize one of the top-tier fishing rods in Fisch. After preparing, you can refer to our comprehensive Fisch Bestiary for full details on fish locations.
