Ultimate Guide to Earning Commission Tickets in Monster Hunter Wilds

In the expansive world of Monster Hunter Wilds, players encounter a plethora of crafting materials. While some items are readily available across various biomes, others remain elusive. Among these rare materials are Commission Tickets, which are particularly difficult to obtain as they are not found in any biome and rely heavily on RNG (random number generation).

Despite the challenge they pose, acquiring Commission Tickets is highly beneficial as they allow players to craft unique and powerful armor. If you’ve been struggling to find these tickets, you’re not alone—many players face the same hurdle. Below, we’ll explore effective strategies for obtaining Commission Tickets in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to Obtain Commission Tickets in Monster Hunter Wilds

Commission Tickets at the Support Ship Monster Hunter Wilds

As previously noted, you won’t find Commission Tickets scattered throughout the game levels. Instead, they can exclusively be acquired from the Support Ship located at your home base in the Windward Plains. However, the availability of Commission Tickets at the Support Ship is inconsistent and dependent on luck.

During a comprehensive 150-hour playthrough, I managed to acquire only three Commission Tickets from the Support Ship, which illustrates just how rare these items are. Given the unpredictable nature of the Support Ship’s stock, players should prepare for a prolonged search.

If you’re desperate for a Commission Ticket, there’s a workaround you could try. When the Support Ship arrives, inspect its inventory. If the ticket isn’t available, exit the game without saving and reload to check again. This method can be time-consuming, and while it may be helpful, obtaining a Commission Ticket can still prove to be quite rare.

When Does the Support Ship Arrive?

The Support Ship is expected to appear in Windward Plains approximately every three in-game days. You’ll receive a notification on the right side of your screen stating, “The Support Ship has arrived”as a cue to check its inventory.

To potentially increase the frequency of the Support Ship’s appearances, players can use the Rest option in their tent and change the day three times. However, keep in mind that utilizing this feature costs Guild Points, which are earned through various activities like completing hunts, finishing quests, gathering items, and capturing creatures.

Utilizing Commission Tickets

Commission Armor Set Monster Hunter Wilds

Commission Tickets can be utilized to craft the prestigious Commission Armor Set. This set includes several armor pieces, each equipped with different skills:

Armor Piece Skills
Commission Helm Agitator: Boosts attack power and affinity when large monsters are enraged.
Maximum Might: Increases affinity when stamina remains full for a duration.
Commission Mail Divine Blessing: Offers a chance to reduce incoming damage.
Agitator: Similar boost as noted above.
Commission Vambraces Quick Sheathe: Accelerates weapon sheathing.
Agitator: Repeated boost as detailed before.
Commission Coil Agitator: Again, boosts your attack power and affinity.
Tool Specialist: Reduces recharge time for specialized tools.
Commission Greaves Agitator: Continues to enhance attack and affinity.
Earplugs: Shields from roars of large monsters.

Even though the Commission Armor Set lacks any Set Bonus Skills or Group Skills, the numerous individual skills make it a worthwhile investment. It boasts a solid base defense of 221, Fire Resistance of 10, and Water Resistance of 10.

Remarkably, this armor set does not incur any negative statistics for resistances such as Thunder, Ice, or Dragon. Instead, these resistances are maintained at a stable base level of 0. Along with impressive stats, the aesthetics of the Commission Armor Set add to its appeal, aligning perfectly with the iconic style of Monster Hunter Wilds.
