Ultimate Guide to Catching the Secret Magma Leviathan in Fisch

The latest update in Roblox‘s Fisch has unveiled an exciting addition: five elusive secret fish. These colossal aquatic creatures resemble the Megalodon and Kraken, each featuring a captivating cutscene upon catch. Among these is the formidable Magma Leviathan, a dragon-like fish that appears to exude lava from its very being.

Catching the Magma Leviathan is not just for bragging rights; it’s essential for solving the Giant Gate puzzle located in the Calm Zone, situated in the fourth trench layer. If you aspire to explore the deeper realms of Mariana’s Veil, here’s how to successfully capture this magnificent secret fish.

Location of the Secret Magma Leviathan in Fisch

How to catch the Magma Leviathan in Fisch

The secret Magma Leviathan resides within the lava pond at Volcanic Vents in Fisch. As is the case with other hidden fish, it will automatically bite when you cast your line in its habitat, allowing you to skip the wait commonly associated with server events. Conveniently, this lava pond is located in the first layer of Mariana’s Veil, making it the most accessible secret fish location. However, before venturing out, you must first complete Dr. Glimmerfin’s quest to build a submarine, essential for navigating the ocean depths.

Once you’re equipped with your submarine, navigate to the Mariana’s Veil entrance at Roslit Bay and dive downwards. Since access to other cave layers is restricted initially, you will naturally make your way to the Volcanic Vents after a short time. From the Submarine Shipwright, make your way south, and when the cave pathway limits your direction, head west. Keep on this route, and you will ultimately arrive at the Volcanic Vents pond.

Don’t forget to bring your Advanced Glider, as you will encounter sections requiring you to leap over obstacles. Be mindful, as taking damage can significantly impact your survival.

How to Successfully Capture the Secret Magma Leviathan in Fisch

To capture the elusive Magma Leviathan in Fisch, prepare to use Truffle Worm bait. Cast your line in the Volcanic Vents lava pond during the daytime in the foggy weather conditions of summer. The Magma Leviathan thrives in warmer, high-temperature environments, making these specifics crucial for increasing your chances of a successful catch. Remember, luck is a vital component, as it may take considerable time to catch one without it.

Initially, gather sufficient Truffle Worm bait by opening Volcanic Geodes. Additionally, accumulate other high-luck baits like Fish Head to utilize in case your Truffle Worms run low. Equip a rod that boasts high luck and resilience, such as the Hasty Enchanted Heaven’s Rod or Rod of the Forgotten Fang; alternatives like the Tempest Rod or Abyssal Specter Rod will also suffice.

Next, ensure that it is summer, as there is currently no in-game item that can change the seasons. You will need to wait around real-time hours (approximately eight) for summer to commence. For tracking the arrival of summer, consult the Fisch wiki. Once summer is in full swing and you have your supplies ready, you have two strategic options:

  • Change the weather to foggy using Smokescreen Totems, and enhance your luck with Server Luck or Merlin VI (available for 5, 000 in-game currency).
  • Initiate an Aurora Borealis event by employing an Aurora Totem (if your budget allows) or join a public server already experiencing the event for a boost.

With everything set, jump into the Volcanic Vents lava pond, cast your line, and wait. The Magma Leviathan has a -90 Progress Speed, and once hooked, a deep maroon exclamation mark will indicate your success.
