The Groundbreaking quest unfolds on the Blue Gate map and encompasses several critical tasks. Below is a summary of the missions you’ll need to complete:

Successfully completing this quest rewards you with a new color variant for the Warden outfit, which players can also obtain through the Stench of Corruption quest.

Accessing the Locked Room at Pilgrim’s Peak

Your first task is to reach Pilgrim’s Peak, found in the northeastern section of the Blue Gate map. Here, you’ll search for a locked room that can only be opened with the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key, which you will acquire during the quest.

Be aware, as the door may already be unlocked. Prior to entering Pilgrim’s Peak, exercise caution—ARC Sentinels and Turrets may be defending the area, and you could encounter ARC aerial foes, such as the ARC Rocketeer.

Finding the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key

When navigating the building, locate the room housing the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key on the far eastern side. Regardless of which entry point you choose, head east within the building to discover the secured chamber, bringing you one step closer to fulfilling the objectives of the Groundbreaking quest.

Upon entering the locked room, you’ll notice a whiteboard featuring a drawing of a house—this is the construction research cited in your quest log. To progress, make sure to interact with this research material.
